Abington Ferret Refuge provides a safe haven for Stray or Unwanted Ferrets. 

Abington Ferret refuge has been running for over 10 years & is now one of the largest UK ferret rescues.

We care for abused, stray, abandoned or unwanted ferret's also to help owners who can no longer keep their loved pets due to unforeseen circumstances such as loss of home or job loss etc.

We try to find perfect new Permanent loving homes when possible after quarantine, neutering & rehab if needed although any special need's or older ferret's will find a permanent home for life here.​

Little Paws Ferret Rescue

Based in Tyne and Wear, Little Paws Ferret Rescue (registered charity number 1182331) is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming ferrets.

We aim to improve the lives of domesticated ferrets and educate owners to provide better care and housing. We aim to equip ferret owners, volunteers and professionals working with ferrets in the animal health and care sectors, with the knowledge and understanding needed to safely care for and handle ferrets. We also work with local vets to create educational and research materials to better understand ferret health and welfare.​

Fluffy Retreat

Fluffy Retreat is a volunteer run charity that was established officially in 2011 and became a registered charity in October 2015. Our primary focus is the rehabilitation and rehoming of ferrets who find themselves no longer in a loving home, or who can no longer be looked after by their owners. Many ferrets come to us as strays; underweight, covered in ticks and fleas and are scared and hungry. It can take many months to rehabilitate some ferrets and our rehabilitation and neutering program is tailored to each ferret's individual needs. Sometimes we take in ferrets who cannot be rehomed due to temperament, health or age and we offer these a lifetime home either here at the rescue or in supported foster care with our volunteers.

Ferret Rescue Surrey

Ferret Rescue Surrey is based in the UK, offering advice, adoptions, re-homing, boarding and microchipping.

Ferret Rescue Surrey has been set up by a dedicated couple who live in Surrey. It has taken 10 years to establish and it is now home to a variety of ferrets of all ages looking for their forever homes. This group will enable you to learn more about ferrets, and also keep up to date with the rescue's news.

South Cheshire Ferret Rescue

For the last 18 years we have been working closely with the local Wildlife Centre near Nantwich, helping to rehome any ferrets that come in to their care.

We have to adhere to a number of strict guidelines to enable us to board and rehome ferrets from the Wildlife Centre, along with any ferrets handed in by members of the public.

We have lots of ferrets needing homes, and South Cheshire is very close the M6 motorway, meaning we are within easy reach of Cheshire, Manchester, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Lancashire and many more.

Three Shires Ferret Rescue

The rescue is based in Rushden and takes in unwanted and abandoned ferrets with a view to rehoming them to safe and secure homes.

Here at the ferret farm we rescue, re-home and offer holiday boarding for your furry fuzz butts. The rescue of ferrets never stopped.
We saw a mass increase in breeding, strays and then ferrets no longer wanted or bucket loads of unwanted kits from people breeding to try to make money or because they didn’t know what they were doing. This is still a ongoing issue

Prospect Ferret Rescue

Prospect Ferret Rescue, situated in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, is dedicated to the rescue and placement of abused, unwanted and abandoned ferrets. The Rescue provides a temporary sanctuary for ferrets suitable for adoption whilst every effort is made to find loving, responsible, forever homes. The Rescue also provides a permanent home for those ferrets who cannot be adopted due to health, age or temperament. We work to raise awareness about the benefits of adopting these playful, affectionate and easy-to-look-after small animals and provide information and support to ensure successful adoptions so that rescued ferrets can live out their natural lives in comfort and security.

Essex Ferret Welfare Society

We are a non-profit making organisation, based in Ongar Essex, aiming to promote the welfare of ferrets in our local area. For over 25 years we have been providing abandoned and unwanted ferrets with shelter, medical treatment and the care and attention they deserve. We have committed ourselves to a program of neutering and micro-chipping the animals in our care and finding them suitable new forever homes. We look to provide advice and support to owners of both companion and working ferrets. We also strive to improve the public knowledge of ferrets by giving talks and demonstrating them at country shows where racing them helps raise funds to support our rescue work.

Harrietsham Ferret Rescue has now been running for22 years, we are completely self funded rescue and manage to carry on by peoples kind donations and by doing shows to raise awareness.We are always looking for new homes for the ferrets we rescue and will always carry out home checks.

Cambridgeshire Ferret Welfare and Rescue Society

Our rehoming is currently cantered in Boston, Lincolnshire but we also have re-homers in Norfolk and aim to cover a wide area with the help of our lovely volunteers.
